Wool

Naturally Beautiful

Wool is the world’s leading natural animal fibre and has been used to clothe people since ancient times. It’s exceptional characteristics and unique fibre structure has today made sheep’s wool the premier choice of fabric around the world.

Wool

Highly Insulating

Fabrics made from wool are incredibly insulating. This is thanks to the unique arrangement of wool cells that form air pockets between the fibres; making wool clothing soft, elastic, breathable, and equally comfortable in both the warm and cold.

Wool

Moisture Repelling

Apparel made from wool repels rain and other moisture due to the waxy coating on the fibre’s outer structure. This helps to keep the liquid on the surface of the wool but allows water vapour to be absorbed and importantly, allows the fabric to breathe. Not only does this help prevent wool clothing from soaking up rainwater, it also protects it from spills soaking into the fabric.

Wool

Long Lasting

Wool clothing is long lasting and resilient. The interior layer of the wool fibre has a spring-like structure, which makes wool flexible but tough, and essentially wrinkle-free.

ALPACA

Amazing Alpacas

Alpaca wool is premium quality and unique. For thousands of years this beautiful and unusual animal (Lama pacos), resembling a mix between a small camel and sheep, has been cultivated by people of the Andes. Since ancient times, its wool has been prized for its beautiful silky texture and inherent luxury and was once exclusively reserved for royalty.

ALPACA

Alpaca Wool Production

Until the beginning of the last century, alpaca wool was primarily known in South America and its production was an important part of Peru’s economy. Since the 19th century, Europeans have enjoyed wearing this fabric and it has become one of the most widely used materials by European fashion designers.

ALPACA

Warm and Luxurious

Alpaca is a warm and luxurious fabric that combines the therapeutic and natural heat benefits of camel wool and the lightweight and softness of llama fibers. It comes in 22 different natural shades ranging from white, grey, brown to black. Many Italian designers have additionally created bright sophisticated garments in this season’s colors.

ALPACA

A Fabulous Investment

Compared to regular sheep's wool, alpaca fibres are three times stronger and seven times warmer. Added to this, the wool is very lightweight, smooth, and very soft. It does not stretch or crumple, is water resistant, and long lasting, making alpaca clothing a fabulous investment.

ALPACA

Lanolin-free

Alpaca is lanolin-free, making it a better alternative to regular sheep's wool for those who suffer from allergies or skin irritation. In some cases, people who are allergic to lanolin can experience congestion on exposure to wool fibers. If you find traditional wool fibers hard to endure, you will find alpaca garments much more suitable.
